Sounds like Lori Loughlin, A.K.A “Aunt Becky” from “Full House,” is taking the potential outcome of going to jail in her upcoming trial seriously.
Loughlin reportedly hired a prison expert to help her “learn the ropes” in the event that she gets a prison sentence following her alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal.
“She has someone who is advising her what to do in case she loses her case and goes to prison,” a source close to Loughlin told People. “The advisor is there to help her learn the ropes. That’s not to be construed that she thinks she’s going to lose her case. Lori is a planner, and she is doing what she needs to do for all contingencies.”
Loughlin, who has maintained her innocence, is actually facing up to 45 years in prison for her alleged role in the “Varsity Blues” scandal. She’s 55.
According to the complaint against them, Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to admissions consultant Rick Singer to falsely designate their daughters Olivia Jade Giannulli, 20, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 21, as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team despite the fact that neither daughter actually participated in the sport.
Authorities even accused the couple of the girls on rowing equipment keep up the facade.
Loughlin was essentially fired from the show that made her famous and her daughter Olivia Jade was also dropped from her makeup partnership with Sephora.
The couple is due in court soon to learn their fate. We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
