Lori Harvey is refusing to admit guilt to criminal hit-and-run charges after being accused of leaving the scene of a crash in Los Angeles.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Lori entered a not guilty plea today in an LA County courtroom. Now that she’s deciding to fight this, Lori has been ordered back to court next month for a preliminary hearing.
Lori is facing two misdemeanor charges, one count of resisting/delaying/obstructing a peace officer, and one count of hit-and-run resulting in property damage.
She’s reportedly facing up to a year in jail if convicted on the charges.
Lori was officially charged by authorities earlier this month. The actual incident happened back in October when Lori allegedly drover her vehicle into another vehicle, causing hers to flip. The crash happened in Beverly Hills.
She’s accused of trying to leave the scene following the incident, but police found her walking down the street a short distance from the scene. Witnesses reportedly told police that they saw Lori texting and driving before the crash occurred.
Lori makes this plea after returning to the states from a birthday getaway in Jamaica with a host of famous friends and her current mansss Future.
