Lizzo Puts Her Own Spin On The BTS Hit Song ‘Butter’ During Recent BBC Radio Appearance

Roommates, Lizzo never hesitates to show love to her fellow musicians and this time she decided to let everyone how much she loves BTS in the best way possible. During her recent appearance on BBC Radio, Lizzo surprised her fans and put her own spin on the chart-topping BTS song “Butter.”

If you ever wanted to hear Lizzo cover BTS, you’re in luck because that’s exactly what she did when she stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge earlier this week to put her twist on one of the biggest hit songs of the year.

Wearing a black top featuring the words “VMIN” on it, which is the nickname she previously gave BTS members V and Jimin during a recent freestyle about their friendship, Lizzo playfully sang along to the song and gave it a bit of her own winning formula for making hits.

Speaking about why she decided to cover the song, Lizzo explained. “I love the song, love how positive their music and how funky it is, so I was super excited to sing this. [I’m always] singing it around the house anyway. I have dedicated my artistry to making positive music, and BTS does just that. The world has fallen in love with them because they are so sweet and pure and they’re just good-hearted. And I wanted to bring some positivity into the world via their song.”
