Tia Mowry Shares Emotional Message About Sonya Massey Shooting

On Tuesday, July 23, Mowry took to Instagram to share a video with her fans. In the clip, the actor explained that she just watched the bodycam footage of Massey being fatally killed in her home.

“I am literally shaking right now because — whew, to see how somebody’s life can be taken in such a way is so terrible. And so disgusting,” she said. “When is this going to stop?”

As the video continued, Mowry shared that she’s worried as a mother to a “young Black boy.” Additionally, she explained that she now needs to have “another conversation” with him about the importance of “being careful” in America.

“When is this going to stop? When is enough enough?” Mowry asked with tears visibly building in her eyes.
