Tia Mowry And Cory Hardrict Finalize Their Divorce Amid 15th Wedding Anniversary

According to court documents obtained by US Weekly, Mowry, and Hardrict’s marriage was reportedly dissolved on Monday, April 24.

The outlet reports that “specific details” regarding the proceeding have not been released. However, the ex-couple has “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.”

Furthermore, both Mowry and Hardrict will retain joint custody of their two children, son Cree who is 11 years old, and daughter Cairo, who is four years old.

The divorce’s finalization arrives amid Mowry and Hardrict’s 15th wedding anniversary. According to PEOPLE, the ex-couple wed in April 2008.

The divorce’s finalization also arrives almost six months after Mowry initially filed the motion.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Mowry made the move in October 2022. At the time, she reportedly did not list the couple’s date of separation in the filing. However, she allegedly asked the judge to terminate spousal support for herself or Hardrict, citing that they had a prenup.

Shortly after the news of Mowry’s divorce filing surfaced, the actor took to Instagram to share a transparent message addressing the information to her fans.

“I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children. I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives.”

The news of Mowry and Hardrict’s divorce in October 2022 arrived as a shock to many fans of the actors.

In April, the couple celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary and 22 years of romance and appeared to be in great standing.

“22 years and it still feels like day one. @coryhardrict still finds ways to surprise me – like our beautiful dinner last night!”

After news of Mowry and Hardrict’s divorce went public, Instagram users quickly returned to the comment section of Mowry’s above Instagram post with questions.

One user, @deeohnaturals, wrote.

According to US Weekly, Mowry and Hardrict met on the set of the film Hollywood Horror in 1999. In 2006, on Christmas Day, Hardrict reportedly proposed to Mowry, and the two tied the knot in 2008.

In 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, Cree, into the world and renewed their vows in 2013.

In 2018, Mowry gave birth to their second child, Cairo.

Despite the actor’s split, the two have remained amicable, even spending the recent Christmas holiday together.
