Roomies, as you know, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. The game occurred at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday, February 11.
Although many fans seemed to believe they knew how the game would go, the event appeared to leave everyone on their toes.
Here are some reactions to the biggest moments from Super Bowl LVIII.
The Game Came In Hot
Before the game even hit the field, singers Chilli and Erykah Badu got social media talkin’. Badu took to X, formerly known as Twitter, writing: “Perfect day to cheat with a soft dude. Men gone be watchin football.”
X users quickly shared their reactions to the singer’s spicy words.
Meanwhile, Instagram users shared their reactions in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @themeganbaca wrote, “It’s the fact that it ain’t got no playful emojis or anything. 😂”
While Instagram user @shotdiva added, “She may tell a joke but will never tell a lie!!! 😂😂😂😂”
Instagram user @shelovecj wrote, “She woke up and chose violence lol”
While Instagram user @_pettyking added, “There’s so many things to unpack within this statement…mainly a guy being “soft” or not included in the “men” category if he’s not watching football. There can be masculine men who don’t care for football.”
Instagram user @aroundthewayway wrote, “lol one thing Erykah gonna do is get all the mens in they feelings.”
Chilli also stirred up reactions on Instagram by wishing her boyfriend, Matthew Lawrence, a happy birthday and sharing a
photo of them.
Reports of the pair dating one another surfaced around January 2023, per
The Shade Room. Additionally, Chilli’s relationship with the actor follows her years-long high-profile relationship with Usher.
Although the pair ended their relationship in the early 2000s, social media users couldn’t help but find it ironic that Lawrence celebrated his birthday on Usher’s big night.
Instagram user @niyahsava wrote, “Not Usher performing on his bday. Today just keeps on getting messy.”
While Instagram user @tynicolle added, “Not on Usher day. Come back tomorrow Chilli”
Instagram user @miimzeez wrote, “Lawd this superbowl got more backstories than an episode of SVU!”
