Issa Daughter! Chanel Iman & Davon Godchaux Are Having A Baby Girl

Chanel and Davon shared the news on Mother’s Day via social media.

The video opens with Chanel cradling her baby bump while posing with daughters Cali and Cassie—whom she shares with her ex-husband, Shepherd Sterling.

Viewers can then see Chanel and Davon embracing as they pose together. The couple acknowledges that Chanel’s “hoping for a boy,” while Davon proclaims, “I hope it’s a girl. I want a girl.”

After some additional poses, the family segues to the gender reveal, which shows they’re having a girl!

They then react to the news before sharing some messages for the child.

Davon noted, “I just want to tell my baby I love you [and] can’t wait to meet you. Proud dad already. Can’t wait to see you!”

Chanel shared a similar message.

“I would like to tell our daughter that I love you so much and I’m just so grateful to be your mother. You have an amazing father and together we will raise you.”

Aside from the gender reveal video, Chanel also shared some additional uploads to commemorate the holiday.

“Mother’s Day keeps getting better. I will be a mommy of 3.”

Before wishing all moms a happy Mother’s Day, she added, “Thank you God for giving me everything I have prayed for.”

She also shared some messages for Cali and Cassie.

Of course, Chanel was sure to acknowledge her unborn child.

“To my third born, my little miracle that’s on your way! I think about what you will look like every day. Mommy is so excited to meet you, kiss those little toes and hold you in my arms. I can’t wait to do life with you.”

As The Shade Room reported, Chanel and Davon announced they were expecting a child in early May.

The couple shared the news by posting some pictures from a photo shoot. Looking angelic in all-white attire, the couple embraces as they lovingly prepare to expand their blended family.

In the caption, Chanel straightforwardly wrote, “God is great! It’s all been a blessing.”
