Roomies, as you probably know, Blueface is currently serving time behind bars. But why is he locked up, and when can fans expect him to return to the scene? Well, The Shade Room is shedding some light on those questions.
Here’s What Happened When Blueface Turned Himself In
As The Shade Room previously reported, two weeks after the New Year holiday, Blueface found himself engulfed in legal trouble. On January 12, his manager, Wack 100, took to social media to share an image that left fans questioning whether the rapper had been arrested.
Wack’s post featured a photo of Blueface with the words “Free Blueface.” However, it didn’t feature a caption.
Then, the rapper’s mother, Karlissa Saffod, chimed in and confirmed the speculation via her Instagram Story.
“Lord you know our hearts. Praying for Johnathan,” she wrote at the time, per The Shade Room. “… Jaidyn [Alexis] got him one charge, [Chrisean] Rock got him the one that violated the other. That’s why it’s so quiet… Praying everyone now understand why I didn’t want them together…”
In addition, Saffod shared more insight into the alleged incidents that resulted in Blueface’s legal consequences.
“If I’m lying tell them to tell why he in there. Because it all could have been avoided. Especially knowing who he is and that he was on probation when BM #1 threw a glass at security and BM #2 hit a fan,” Saffold added. “When u with people who love you they don’t get s**t started and then act like nothing happened.”
Later that day, footage surfaced on X, formerly known as Twitter, of Blueface turning himself in to authorities in Los Angeles, California. At the time, it was speculated that the rapper would spend a year behind bars, although the cause of his arrest remained unclear.

Here's Why The Rapper Is Behind Bars
According to a January report from TMZ, Blueface allegedly violated “one or more of the terms of his probation” from a September 2021 assault case. At the time, the rapper was charged with assault for an altercation with a nightclub bouncer and robbery for allegedly stealing the man’s chain.
However, in the January report, TMZ did not specify what it is believed Blueface did to violate the terms of his probation.

Now, roomies, don’t get your hopes up too high. According to Daily Mail, a judge in Las Vegas issued an arrest warrant for Blueface on February 1.
Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delanay has reportedly ordered the rapper to turn himself into Las Vegas authorities after he’s released from police custody in Los Angeles, California.
Why the new trouble for Blueface? Well, as The Shade Room previously reported, in December 2023, footage circulated on social media from his concert at Gem Nightclub in Salt Lake City, Utah. In the clip, Blueface could be seen ordering Jaidyn Alexis to put the paws on a fan who allegedly threw ice at her.
“You know what to do. Yeah, get her!” Blueface reportedly told Alexis, per HipHopDX.
As a result, the Salt Lake City Police Department issued a subsequent statement regarding the incident, making it clear that Blueface was on their radar.
“Video is circulating of rapper Blueface inviting a fan on stage at his Salt Lake City concert, only for her to get pushed down and stomped. The Salt Lake City Police Department confirms it’s investigating,” the department’s statement reported read as previously reported.
According to the Daily Mail‘s report, Blueface’s Las Vegas attorney, Kristina Wildeveld, has confirmed that he will surrender to authorities there once he’s released in Los Angeles.
At this time, it remains unclear when Blueface will have completed his jail time in connection to both probation violations.

Here's What's Happened Since Blueface Got Locked Up
According to TMZ, Blueface’s time in the Los Angeles County Jail “isn’t so bad — compared to most inmates.” The outlet reports that he’s housed in an administrative segregation area, which separates him from the general population.
In addition, he reportedly has a jail cell to himself and can leave his quarters for up to seven hours a week to participate in any offered education, religious, or recreational activities.
The rapper also has access to a library, can shower every other day, and reportedly has access to decent meal options.
Meanwhile, Chrisean Rock — and her massive Blueface face tattoo — has moved into the rapper’s home as she and their son, Chrisean Jr., await his return.
