See Which Artists Have A Las Vegas Residency Lined Up In 2024

It’s Up! See Which Artists Have Announced A 2024 Las Vegas Residency

In 2022 and 2023, Usher set the bar really high for the Las Vegas residency scene. He shook the innanet with his performances, making it clear that his voice and dance moves still hit.

His music got its flowers from fans and celebrities alike. Kenya Moore told her fans he “snatched” her soul. Keke Palmer went from an Usher serenade to portraying the R&B superstar in his ‘Boyfriend’ music video. By the end of his residency, Usher had floored plenty of his fellow entertainment industry peers. Now, he’s gearing up to headline the Super Bowl in February.

New Edition Takes Las Vegas

New Edition dropped a gem for longtime fans in November: their Las Vegas residency announcement. Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe will be performing six shows between Feb. 28 and Mar. 9. The group is expected to take the stage at the Wynn Las Vegas.

The group shared with Billboard that landing a residence was a “career-long dream” for them.

“Fulfilling a career-long dream to solidify ourselves with a residency performance in the entertainment capital of the world, we are beyond excited to embark on this fantastical journey at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas,” the press release reads. “On behalf of all of us, including Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph & Johnny, it is our extreme purpose to give our fans a show that they cannot witness anywhere else in the world.”

Jodeci In Sin City

Speaking of throwback groups, Jodeci is also taking their talents to the Las Vegas scene. According to Revolt, the group named their upcoming series ‘The Show, The After Party, The Las Vegas Residency.’ Their live performances will begin on March 15 and run through March 24 before breaking and returning on July 5 until the 13.

Unlike New Edition, Jodeci will take the stage at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. This reportedly comes eight years after DeVante Swing, Mr. Dalvin, K-Ci, and JoJo released their fourth studio LP, per Revolt.

In May, Mr. Dalvin clarified that the group has never broken up, despite their quiet moments in the music-making business.

Bye East Coast! Wu-Tang Clan In Vegas

R&B groups aren’t the only ones taking over Las Vegas in 2024. In fact, residency lovers can expect to see Wu-Tang Clan on the line-up.

The Grammy-nominated rap group announced their residency in mid-December. They’ll be hosting four exclusive shows — two in February and two in March — at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The first set will co-occur with Super Bowl weekend.

According to Essence, the collective’s leader, RZA, previously revealed their Las Vegas residency had been in the works for about five years.

Sprung in Vegas? T-Pain Lands 2024 Residency

Solo acts will also get the chance to sparkle in Las Vegas this year! That list of entertainers includes the auto-tune king, T-Pain.

Like some of his entertainment peers, T-Pain also announced his Las Vegas residency in December.

His first show takes place on Feb. 8 — just a day before Wu-Tang Clan begins their set of performances. Unlike the rap group, though, the “I’m Sprung” singer will be in Sin City, turning up with fans in April, May, and July. He will take the stage at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub.

He spoke to ABC13 about the career opportunity.

“2024 is going to be a great year,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate to have an amazing career and I’ve always dreamed of having a residency of my own. I’ve got some special surprises up my sleeve, so Vegas, let’s turn up!”
