Saweetie found herself the subject of conversation after Chris Brown seemingly alluded to having relations with her while she was dating her ex-boyfriend, Quavo. Brown’s allegations arrived amid him dissing her ex-boyfriend, Quavo, this past weekend.
Since then, the feud has only intensified between Brown and Quavo.
But now, The Shade Room is taking some time to look back on Saweetie and Quavo’s romance and split.
On August 22, 2018, Huncho released the official music video for his single, ‘WORKIN ME.’ About 30 seconds into the four-minute-long video, the Icy Girl appeared, and the music video continued with the pair cozying up to one another before finding themselves in dire circumstances.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Saweetie and Huncho were initially photographed together back in 2018. In September of that year, a source exclusively confirmed that the pair were dating.
Then, later that month, Saweetie reportedly remained coy when speaking on the Migos rapper during an appearance on ‘The Real.’ According to iHeart Radio, Saweetie called the rapper “cute” while sharing that they’ve been “getting to know each other.”
“I can keep it real,” she said. “Me and [Quavo] have worked together — you guys have seen the ‘Workin’ Me’ video… We worked together, and ever since then, we’ve been getting to know each other. I enjoy his company.”
On October 18, 2018, the Real 92.3 radio station published an exclusive video interview with Quavo. About seven minutes into the interview, the rapper was asked to speak on his relationship with Saweetie.
“She nice, I like her a lot,” Quavo explained.
Host Bootleg Kev then Quavo if Saweetie was his “homie.”
“Nah, she ain’t my homie,” he clarified.
A few days later, the Icy Girl and Huncho were spotted sitting courtside at the Atlanta Hawks NBA game.
