LisaRaye Denies Being A Colorist Following Comments She Made About Fired Radio Host Who Compared Black Women To ‘Toast’ (Video)

LisaRaye is clearing the air about some comments she made in defense of a New York radio host who was fired after he compared Black women’s skin tones to his toast color preferences.

Rob Lederman, who was let go after he made the racist statements, enraged a lot of people including one of the celebrities he name dropped in the segment.

“I have them to the attractiveness of women that I find to be attractive,” Rob said of his toaster settings. “So I will never go to a Serena Williams level, but I’m very comfortable with…a Halle Berry level. I mean a little bit of mulatto still coming through.”

The whole ordeal was a topic of discussion on Fox Soul’s “Cocktails with Queens” after Halle Berry called out Lederman for his “disgusting” remarks.

While the rest of her co-hosts dragged Lederman for filth for disrespecting Black women, LisaRaye caught some heat for suggesting that Lederman said nothing wrong and that he was merely stating his preference.

Some fans even calling LisaRaye a colorist for not speaking out against Lederman’s problematic statement, but when TMZ caught up with her, she decided to defend her own name,

LisaRaye explained that she does not support Lederman but made it clear that she does defend his right to have a preference. She also stated she’s not a colorist and mentioned that we were living in “sensitive times.”
