Lil Yachty recently got candid about his sex life, and he shared an eyebrow-raising comment about how he thinks women may perceive him.
:The “Poland” rapper spoke on the subject during an appearance on the Sofia with an F podcast earlier this month, and he began by straight up declaring that he isn’t very sexually active. As a result, Yachty said, “I think women probably think I’m gay.”
“A lot of times, I don’t have sex. I think women probably think I’m gay.”
He went on to elaborate on this statement by saying that he often just wants to get to know someone rather than jumping straight into bed. Yachty also said that, as opposed to sex, he “sometimes [just likes] to see what someone is like” when flying a person out.
“I don’t care that much. I think a lot of times women think if they flying out to you like that we have to have sex. Or like that’s on my mind. Sometimes I just like to see what someone is like, or even if I can be around them ’cause I usually can’t.”
Host Sofia Franklyn noted that she understands his point, and she also added that some women take men not wanting to have sex as an insult when, in reality, they’re just taking it slow.
Lil Yachty then continued, noting that sex has become “diluted” to him before proclaiming that “it’s not what it used to be.” He also shared that laughing with others is what really gives him pleasure.
“I just had so much sex that it’s, like, diluted to me. Yea, like, it’s just… it’s not what it used to be. Like, I get off more on just really laughing. Like, ’cause laughing is so good. Like, to laugh and it’s a real laugh and it’s like, ‘Yea, we’re laughing together.'”
While on the subject, we should briefly note that people have speculated on the rapper’s sexuality in the past.
Whether it’s over his nail art, fashion sense, or creative decisions, the allegations continually come up, as Yachty doesn’t abide by traditional gender norms, as Distractify reports.
Additionally, as he featured two men kissing on the cover of his Teenage Emotions album, he isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
What do you think about Lil Yachty’s comments, and can you empathize with what he shared? Additionally, what do you think about the overall speculation?
