Lil Wayne Reportedly Threatens to Sue Martin Shkreli If He Leaks More Tracks From ‘Tha Carter V’ Album

For a while now fans have been screaming “Free Tha Carter V,” as they have been awaiting the release of Lil Wayne’s highly anticipated album.

Late last year, Martin Shkreli, a well-known pharmaceutical entrepreneur leaked one of the tracks, after he said he claimed he purchased the album through a legal sale.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne’s lawyers and Universal Music have both issued cease and desist letters after Shkreli reportedly leaked more music from the album earlier this month.

Sources revealed that Lil Wayne did not take action the first time around because Shkreli promised not to do it again. However, he broke his promise a few months later leaking more music through a live stream.

Those close to Lil Wayne say they think Shkreli is only seeking attention, but if he leaks any more music, that will lead to a huge lawsuit.

If you guys can remember, Shkreli also purchased the Wu Tang’s “Once Upon A Time In Shaolin,” album, where there is only one copy. He shared the intro through a live stream following Donald Trump’s win during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Roommates, are you still looking forward to “Tha Carter V?”
