Everyone was pretty much shocked to see Lil Wayne and Birdman pictured together at Drake’s New Year’s Party. Giving the year that they had, it was starting to look like the two were moving on to better things for 2016. However, we all wanted to know if the beef was finally squashed, and most importantly did Wayne still have that million-dollar lawsuit against Cash Money.
According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and Birdman’s reconciliation was made possible thanks to Mack Maine. The Young Money president arranged for the two to have a phone conversation prior to meeting up at Drake’s party later on that night. It’s being reported that both Wayne and Birdman “have strong feelings” about squashing their beef.
And although things can be looking up for the two, Lil Wayne has not agreed to drop his $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money until they reach an agreement.
Nonetheless, it’s great to see things being worked out as Lil Wayne and Birdman try to repair that father/son relationship we know that they share.
