It looks like Lil Wayne is ready to work things out with Baby, which is surprising because he was just filmed not to long ago dissing Cash Money!
But according to TheJasmineBrand, on April 6th, Weezy filed documents stating that he wishes to dismiss his lawsuit without prejudice which basically means that he still has the right to snatch wigs if he doesn’t get what he wants but he is willing to let bygones be bygones.
Earlier this year, news broke that Lil Wayne complained that Cash Money Records would not release his new album Tha Carter V as well as being shorted out of nearly $10 million. Wayne had filed the suit for $51 million in order to compensate for the owed pay as well as damages for the album not being released.
Weezy pleaded with the courts to allow him to leave his contract with Cash Money since they never fulfilled their contractual obligations. He also wanted a court order stating he was the rightful owner of all copyrights related to Drake, Nicki Minaj and others”.
Birdman nor any representatives from Cash Money Records entertained any of the allegations as of yet but let’s hope that now all is well with YMCMB! Let’s chat below!
