Lil Reese Speaks Out After Reportedly Being Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape In Los Angeles

Chicago rapper Lil Reese is speaking out after reportedly being arrested on “suspicion of rape and assault” in Los Angeles.

More Details On What Prompted Lil Reese’s Arrested

According to TMZ, Reese recently went on a date with a woman, and afterward, they went back to a hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Furthermore, the rapper is accused of “insisting” that he and the woman have sex. However, the woman denied Reese’s advances.

The outlet reports that the rapper allegedly “forced himself on her and raped her.” TMZ adds that the woman went to the hotel lobby and called the police. Her call reportedly occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 14.

Ultimately, Reese was reportedly arrested at the hotel “on suspicion of sexual assault and rape.”

Furthermore, fellow rapper Boosie appeared to be present at the scene during Reese’s arrest. Subsequently, footage surfaced on social media of Boosie urging Lil Reese’s friends to contact him.

Lil Reese Speaks Out

According to the outlet, Reese was released on a $100,000 bond. On Monday, July 15, the 31-year-old took to his Instagram Story to share a message about the allegations against him.

“On my sister Ree Ree the whole story cap and made up,” the rapper wrote. “F**[k] I look Like this ain’t that…”

Additionally, the rapper explained that he “know[s] better.”

“and the same way y’all posting that s**[t] make sure yall post [when] the case get thrown out on my court date,” Reese added.

The 31-year-old concluded his message by writing, “they do anything for clout and tryna come up try again…”

According to his booking record with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Reese is due back in court on August 8 at 8:30 a.m.

The Rapper Previously Made Headlines By Riling Up Social Media

As The Shade Room previously reported, Reese made headlines in September 2023. At the time, the rapper riled social media up after footage surfaced of him dousing an unhoused man with water.

The footage prompted backlash online, which sparked a public apology from the rapper.

Furthermore, Reese promised to assist unhoused individuals with money, food, clothes, and water “twice a month going forward.”
