Now there’s no way anyone can deny that Lil Mama caught their attention earlier this summer when she released her single “Sausage”. Whether good or bad she had us talking. Now she is back again, however this time she offers her EP, “Take Me Back”.
The project consists of a total of 7-tracks, and in the opening track “#Meme” she features a soundbite from her well-known interview with The Breakfast Club from 2011.
In her first full-length project since her debut album “VYP (Voice of the Young People)” released back in 2008, Lil Mama definitely takes us back as she raps over some classic beats, such as Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice”. Biggie’s “Kick in the Door” and Run-DMC’s “Sucka MC’s”. And of course she had to include her single “Sausage” to end things off.
