Lil Durk recently went out of his way for an act of “support who supports you.” The “Almost Healed” rapper pulled up on an unhoused man named Pedro, bearing gifts for his fan love.
Pedro went viral after a TikTok user uploaded a video of him playing Durk’s “All My Life” video inside his sidewalk-placed tent. In the 10-second clip, the person recording says, “Bruh, the homeless people have projectors here.” The footage shows Pedro’s silhouette near the tent’s entrance.

The first time online users saw Pedro’s face was during his interaction with Durk. After informing Pedro he had booked him a hotel stay and had additional gifts, the rapper asked his permission to put him on camera.
“So look, I got you a room for 30 days. Imma give you a couple dollars, imma give you a gift card and imma give you a phone for showing support,” Durk told Pedro. “Here go the room key, you ain’t gotta say the room key out loud, a couple dollars, phone, gift cards, everything. Appreciate you.”
Durk followed up by asking, “You wanna be seen?” Pedro replied, “Sure, I ain’t tripping,” and Durk put them both in the camera frame.
“This the amazing guy. What’s your name,” he asked his newfound fan. “Pedro, I appreciate you so much, deeply from the bottom of my heart, it come do this for you.”
Pedro, nodding and donning a small smile, replied, “appreciate it a lot, that’s actually helpful a lot.”
The story behind Pedro’s unhoused situation is unknown at this time.
“That’s how we treat our people, that’s how we treat our fans,” the Chicago artist said.
Durk’s ‘good deed’ comes just days after releasing his 21-track album featuring heavy hitters like J. Cole, Future, 21 Savage, and Kodak Black. Upon its release, he penned a message to fans about his latest project.
“#AlmostHealed Out Now. Thank y’all for being on this journey with me. I hope the pictures I paint from the music help you heal quicker. Love, Durk Banks,” the rapper tweeted on May 26.
