If it’s one rapper that’s going to put the city of Atlanta on his back, you know it’s Lil Baby. The GRAMMY Award winner is teaming up with local businessman Lemont Bradley to provide jobs to individuals under 21 throughout Atlanta. According to CBS46, this initiative is to combat crime.
The partnership seems to be a no-brainer as Lemont and Lil Baby have been friends for several years and had the desire to collaborate on an impactful project in the metro Atlanta area. Lemont owns several businesses, including; Auto Spa Bistro, Eco Car Spa, and Clutch Restaurant.
The newly opened Clutch Restaurant is looking to hire bartenders, bar backs, waiters, line cooks, dishwashers, and promoters for themed nights every day of the week. In addition, Lemont is also looking to hire car washers, car tinters, and more for the car wash. “We are looking to give out 100 jobs to teenagers and young adults in the metro Atlanta area,” said Baby and Lemont.
“With the crime rate surrounding scams, robbery, and even murder being so high, we are looking to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream to those who are looking for an income.”
The job opportunities don’t stop there. Both men advised they plan to open a lawn care business in the fall.
“We are so excited about this initiative,” says the men. “Of course, we are looking forward to helping boost the city’s economy, but we are really focused on lowering the city’s crime rate.”
Crime in Atlanta has gotten out of control. As we reported earlier, ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ star Marlo Hampton was recently a victim of a home invasion on July 1st. Marlo explained the incident occurred when her young nephew was home and thanked God that the Sandy Springs police arrived quickly.
