A legal representative for Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has responded after his ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, filed a lawsuit against him for sexual harassment.
On Tuesday, June 4, TMZ published an exclusive statement received from Ye’s rep. In the statement, the representative asserted that Pisciotta’s allegations against Ye are “baseless.”
Additionally, the rep. accused the woman of engaging in “blackmail and extortion.” Then, they shared that Ye would be filing his own lawsuit against Pisciotta.
“In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected,” the statement reads.
Furthermore, the rep. accuses Pisciotta of stealing Ye’s phone. The woman allegedly did so “in an attempt to destroy evidence that would run counter to her narrative.” They also allege that the woman was fired from her position for being “unqualified” and demanding large sums of money from the rapper.
The counter-accusations don’t end there, however. Ye’s rep. also accuses the ex-assistant of sending him nude photos in an attempt to solicit sex.
“Pisciotta offered Ye sex on his birthday, to which he declined, sent Ye unsolicited nude images, sexual narratives, and was seen twerking in the office during business hours,” Ye’s legal rep told US Weekly in a separate statement.
When Pisciotta was remanded for her alleged actions, the rep. says she resorted to “attempted extortion and blackmail.” The woman allegedly demanded millions from Ye before ultimately filing her lawsuit.
“It is evident that Ms. Pisciotta leveraged her association with Ye and his company, and her proximity to him, to seek material gains, clout, and employment through inappropriate means,” Ye’s rep. reportedly added, per TMZ.
Social media users reacted to Ye’s legal update in The Shade Room’s comment section. Many shared overwhelming remarks on Pisciotta’s appearance.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Pisciotta recently filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Ye. In the suit, the woman alleged she was hired by the rapper in 2021 while creating lucrative content on OnlyFans.
In 2022, Ye allegedly confronted the woman about her account. According to Pisciotta, the rapper pressured her to be more “God-like” and delete her space on OnlyFans before allegedly agreeing to supplement her million-dollar income.
Afterward, the woman alleged she began receiving vulgar sexual texts and videos from Ye. Some content showed footage of him having sex with a model, she says.
Furthermore, the woman alleged Ye would pleasure himself during phone calls. Despite the alleged experiences, Pisciotta eventually agreed to a hefty $4 million promotion.
Eventually, the woman was fired from her position in October 2022, per Us Weekly. Although she was promised a $3 million severance from Ye, she allegedly never received one.
Pisciotta sued the rapper for breaching their employment contract, creating a hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and sexual harassment.
