Lavar Ball recently gave his sons some advice on finding love while they’re playing in the NBA and didn’t hold back one bit! As y’all know, Lavar has three sons, Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball. Lonzo is already a few years into his NBA career, and LaMelo is projected to be one of the highest upcoming picks this week.
While speaking with Bro Bible’s “Endless Hustle” podcast, Lavar spilled tea on the warning he gave his sons on never finding a good girl while they’re in the NBA.
“You’re never going to meet a nice woman, especially in basketball,” he says. “If you’re in this profession, when you have all this fame and notoriety, how are you going to meet a good girl? You’re not ‘cause, what, you gon’ meet her in that restaurant where you eat, or you gon’ go to a club where you dance, or you gon’ meet her at the arena. So, I hate to tell you—you gon’ meet a h-e.”
What’s the price of LaVar Ball’s sons becoming billionaire basketball icons?

When asked what happens if one of the kids brings home a “h*e”, Lavar quickly responded, “What do you mean what happens if they bring home a hoe?!—I’ve already seen them!” Adding, “They’ve already brought a few through here.
Lavar further explains that the places one usually meets a good woman, are not the places his sons are frequently around to be exposed to such women.
“‘Cause usually where do you meet a nice woman?” he starts off. “If you have a job and you go to your job every day and she works at your job, you see her every day—you know what she’s about. You go to school, you see her all the time. You go to church, you see her all the time.”
He continues his point saying his sons “are not going to church every time [and] they’re not in no school. Their job is traveling to 40 different states—how are you doing to meet somebody and be solid?” Lavar says it’s just not going to happen and the best bet is to retire.
Well, luckily for Lonzo Ball, he and his girlfriend and mother of his child knew each other in high school—so per his dad’s two cents—this one has potential to work out.
LaMelo on the other hand, is about to get a BAG bag just at 19-years-old—a multimillionaire bag at that—so perhaps he’s a little more alert to his dad’s warning, chile.
