Lauryn Hill and The Fugees have reportedly canceled their 2024 U.S. tour three days before its scheduled kick-off.

According to Variety, the group’s tour was “quietly” canceled on Tuesday, August 6. The outlet reports that the tour was set to kick off in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, August 9. It included 18 tour stops across the country.
Additionally, the group’s show dates were reportedly removed from Ticketmaster. Those who purchased tickets reportedly received notices about the tour’s cancellation late that Tuesday.
Furthermore, ticketholders were offered refunds.
“Your event has been canceled. A refund will be on its way to your account soon,” read the notice reportedly received by ticketholders.
Meanwhile, the reason behind the tour’s cancelation reportedly remains unclear. Variety has reportedly contacted representatives for Hill and Live Nation. However, a comment has yet to be received.
Despite the nationwide cancelations, Variety reports that overseas tickets for Hill and The Fugees’ tour remain on sale. Per the outlet, the overseas leg of the tour kicks off in October.

The outlet reports that the group’s most recent cancellation is the “third year in a row” Hill and The Fugees “have canceled some or all of their tour dates.” Furthermore, social media users have reacted to the ordeal in The Shade Room’s comment section.
