Las Vegas police are currently looking for a possible kidnapping victim, and the man that reportedly attacked her after video footage captured the encounter.
According to ABC News, authorities released the footage of the incident and said a resident in a neighborhood south of downtown reported the incident after their doorbell camera captured everything shortly after midnight on New Year’s Eve.
In the video, a woman can be seen running up to the door banging screaming for help. A man then jumps out of a white vehicle and grabs her and violently takes her back to the vehicle. In the unedited version of the video, the man can be heard asking, “Why would you do that?” He then demands her to get into the car as they head towards the vehicle.
Police believe that the vehicle is a Hyundai Sonata with a sunroof, they don’t have the identities of either the woman or the man. Police said that there is a cash reward being offered for anyone that can provide information through Crime Stoppers Nevada, and help lead to an arrest or indictment.
Another kidnapping incident that recently went viral included a man attempting to abduct a woman from a New York City train. The incident was caught on video, the man has since denied trying to kidnap the woman.
