Roommates, we’ve seen La La and 50 Cent co-star on Starz his series ‘Power’, and it looks like the duo is doing it again! Starz has reportedly put 50 & Lala’s drama series ‘Intercepted’ into development.
According to Deadline, ‘Intercepted’ is based on Alexa Martin’s bestselling novel with the same name. The book is part of a three-book series inspired by the eight years she spent as an NFL wife to Derrick Mason of the Baltimore Ravens.
‘Intercepted’ stars Lala as Marlee Harper, who has been a perfect girlfriend to her NFL-star boyfriend for 10 years. But when her relationship ends unexpectedly, she vows to never date an athlete again. then she meets star quarterback Gavin Pope.
Lala hopes to bring her experience as a real life basketball wife to the part.
‘Intercepted’ is only part of the new deal %0 Cent and G-Unit made with Starz last year. The Unit is also developing a series called ‘Black Mafia Family’ for the network.
