It’s not unusual for Kylie Jenner to be trending online, but this time it’s for something she says she did not do! In normal Kylie fashion, the Kardashian sister posted some photos showing off her figure, and after a few hours, a screenshot surfaced that had people talking.
The screenshot reflected Kylie’s photos with a caption reading “brown skinned girl,” and fans quickly flooded her comment section, accusing her of editing the caption to read “brown eyed girl.” The screenshot quickly went viral, and Kylie stepped in to spill the tea about what really happened!
“This is photoshopped. Never said this. Have a good day,” Kylie simply said in our comments. Despite letting y’all know the photo was not real, people questioned that fact that Kylie’s caption was in fact edited, and she says her original caption only included emoji’s before she put emphasis on her eyes.
Kylie even took it a step further and posted receipts of the photoshopped work on her Instagram story.
“Here’s the fake version that everyone believed. I saw online someone photoshopped this photo I posted to change my caption from ‘brown eyed girl’ to ‘brown skinned girl’. I never said this,” the post read.
Kylie and her sisters are often accused of trying to benefit from Black culture, which could have been the motive behind the person changing the caption. Nevertheless, Kylie put the rumors to rest!
