Kylie Jenner Reportedly Files To Trademark The Term ‘Rise And Shine’

We all probably seen this one coming, but Kylie Jenner is looking to lockdown the term “rise and shine,” after the recent clip of her waking up her daughter Stormi has gone viral and taken a life of its own.

According to TMZ, Kylie filed legal documents asking for ownership of the term “Riiise and Shiiinee.” The trademark would cover different kinds of merchandise, including belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, swimwear, undergarments, and of course cosmetics.

For those who may not be familiar with how Kylie has become linked to the common term. Earlier this month, in a YouTube video she was seen walking into her daughter’s room to wake her up. When she walked into the room, she basically started to sing the term “rise and shine,” to wake Stormi up, and after that, the moment started to go viral.

It didn’t take too long before Kylie released hoodies with the saying and also her photo in the center of the sun. Of course, many people credited her mother Kris Jenner for moving quickly with profiting off of the moment as the hoodies started to quickly sell out.

If that doesn’t attest to the popularity of the viral moment, the hashtag #RiseAndShine has also been used over a billion times on Tik Tok as well.
