Kylie Jenner is opening up about the “healthy distance” she and Jordyn Woods now have in their friendship following the Tristan Thompson scandal.
According to Page Six, Jenner opened up about her and Wood’s friendship on the latest episode of ‘The Kardashians.’
The episode, which was released on Thursday, May 30, showed Jenner speaking with her sister Khloé Kardashian. During the conversation, Jenner mentioned seeing Woods while attending Paris Fashion Week.
“It was fun,” she said, recalling the experience. “I think we have a lot more healthy distance in the relationship. Now it’s like, we talk once a month.”
As the conversation continued, Jenner explained that she was thankful the “narrative” regarding her and Woods’ friendship had changed.
“I think, what I do love now is that, the narrative about us online is also over,” she continued. “When we were seen leaving that restaurant, it was a story for a day, maybe two days, whatever, and now it’s over. People know that we’re cool, and no one’s talking about it anymore.”

Social media users shared mixed reactions to the sister’s conversation in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @reggie.elzey wrote, “Khloé is so over talking about anything to do with Tristan, you can see it in that body language”
According to Page Six, Jenner and Woods hit a hiccup in their friendship after Woods was spotted kissing Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, in 2019.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Jenner and Woods wouldn’t be spotted together publicly until July 2023. At the time, the pair stepped out for a sushi dinner date in Los Angeles, California.
In November 2023, Jenner touched on her public outing with Woods while revealing that they “never fully cut each other off” despite Woods’ viral lip-locking incident with Thompson, per The Shade Room.
“Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years, and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything. We never fully cut each other off, and one day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi, and we don’t want to hide anymore,” she explained at the time.
Additionally, Jenner also shared how the incident taught her a learning lesson.
“There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that, in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen,” she said. “We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be. I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”
