Kylie Jenner recently gave some insight into her postpartum struggles. The 24-year-old is six weeks into recovery after baby Wolf’s arrival. Although Kylie tends to be more reserved with her mama life, she got candid with her 318 million Instagram followers about her second trip around the parenthood block.
Baby No. 2
“I just wanna say to my postpartum moms that postpartum has not been easy,” Kylie said on her Instagram Story. “It’s not been easy. It’s very hard.”
The reality television star delivered her message on Tuesday from what appeared to be a gym setting. Prior to sharing her video message, Kylie also shared a boomerang video of her walking on a treadmill. Her caption said “6 weeks postpartum.”
As previously reported, Wolf Webster, who was born on February 2, is Kylie’s second child and first son with Travis Scott. Four years prior on February 1, the parents welcomed their first-born and daughter Stormi.
“This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter,” Kylie continued. “It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually. It’s just crazy.”
No More Pressure Mamas
In addition to starring in ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ throughout her youth, Kylie built a self-tiled cosmetics empire, which launched her to billionaire status. Keeping that in mind, Kylie also spoke on feeling bounceback pressure.
“I didn’t just want to get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet and, you know for other moms going through it right now. We can go on the internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and like put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either,” Kylie said.”It’s been hard and I just wanted to say that.”
She continued, “I didn’t even think I was going to make it to this workout today.” But, she did and also revealed that she was “feeling better” following the session.
“It’s okay not to be okay,” Kylie said. “Once I realized that…I was putting some pressure on myself and I just keep reminding myself, I made a whole human. a beautiful, healthy boy. And we have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be back, not even physically, just mentally after birth. So, yeah, just sending some love. I love you guys.”
