Things are continuing to look up for Kodak Black. Recently a judge officially ended the rapper’s probation in his marijuana and drug case.
According to The Blast, on August 27th court documents were filed in Kodak’s criminal case explaining, “The court is terminating his probation based on the recommendation of the Department of Corrections.”
As a result, his case is now closed.
Kodak was released earlier this month after spending seven months behind bars. Back in April, he was originally sentenced to a year in county jail. He pled guilty to two probation violations, which included driving on a suspended license and “associating with people committing crimes.”
The sentence came after police said they witnessed him in the presence of marijuana and a weapon in an Instagram Live video. His lawyer argued there was no way to determine the stuff in the video was real and the charges were dropped.
Since his release, Kodak has been focused on his music and reportedly has been turning down shows to work on making new tracks.
