The rap game is talking about how PnB Rock‘s girlfriend may have unwittingly gave up his location after posting a photo of them eating on social media, with the slain rapper claiming he was the target of previous robberies in an interview given just days before his shooting death, and flashed expensive jewelry in his final Instagram post.
The 30-year-old, who’s real name is Rakim Allen, was shot to death at a Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in south Los Angeles Monday afternoon as previously reported by The Shade Room, after his influencer girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang, posted a photo of a plate containing food.
Authorities believe the gunmen were able likely able to deduce where Rock was based off of the geolocation information from that social media post.
Now, fellow rappers and commenters alike are calling out his girlfriend for giving up his location to the opps.
Friend and collaborator Kodak Black blamed her entirely for his death in his own Instagram post and even received backlash after writing “That h*e might as well kill herself.
The girlfriend has since deleted her Instagram account.
Others in the rap game have taken their own stances on Rocks death.
Nicki Minaj tweeted that “after Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts,” in reference to Pop Smoke, a rapper who similarly was shot dead after several armed men located him following a social media post showing of a luggage bag containing an address he had been staying at in Los Angeles.
Minaj added “he was such a pleasure to work with.”
“After Pop Smoke there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts,” Minaj wrote in a tweet. ”

In an interview with DJ Akademiks last week, PnB Rock discussed the brazen nature of criminals in LA compared to his hometown in Philadelphia.
“Where I’m from we like sneaky criminals like LA is like they bold,’ he said. ‘They want you to know, they want to spark a conversation with you first before they get into sh*t. Some of them… some of them might just go crazy.”

And in PnB Rock’s last video, since-deleted, was posted before he was shot dead in the armed robbery, he could be seen flashing expensive jewelry and massive diamond chains while wearing a Louis Vuitton sweatshirt.
He had even revealed in an interview before his death that he had been the target of several armed robberies leading up to his passing.
The rapper was gunned down after being approached by a couple inside the restaurant, who demanded they handed over personal items. That led to “some sort of verbal exchange,” according to LAPD Captain Kelly Muniz, before he was shot multiple times.
No arrests have been made as of Tuesday.
