Roommates, as we continue to grasp the reality of wearing face masks as part of our daily lives—Kim Kardashian West has come to the rescue. Dropping the first look on Instagram, Kim debuted her brand new face masks from her highly successful SKIMS shapewear line.
Kim Kardashian West made her fans very happy recently, when she officially announced that her popular SKIMS shapewear line would now be selling seamless face masks. The face masks, which are reusable and non-medical, are priced reasonably at $8 each or 4 for $25.
Staying in line with broad shade range of her other SKIMS products, the face masks are made of a stretchy blend of Nylon and Spandex fabric—representing a wide variety of skin tones, something that Kim has prided herself on since debuting the line.
However, to ensure that customers know that her masks are not medical, in the product’s description, it’s noted that while the masks can reduce exposure to bodily fluids, they will not eliminate the risk of contracting diseases, including the coronavirus. Additionally, SKIMS will donate 10,000 masks to coronavirus relief efforts. As expected, the face masks completely sold out within an hour of going up for sale online.
Kim took to Twitter to assure that more are on the way:
“Unfortunately our @skims face masks have sold out today but we’re working with our local partner in LA to produce more as quickly as possible. The next batch will be available next week – please sign up to receive more details coming soon, and thank you for your support.”
We’re not surprised Kim has successfully secured herself another bag!
