Kim Kardashian On Working With The Trump Administration: “Everyone Called Me & Said, ‘Don’t You Dare Step Foot In That White House Or Your Reputation Is Done'”

Roommates, Kim Kardashian has been very open about working with the Trump administration to aid in criminal justice reform, and granting clemency to people who have been wrongfully imprisoned. While she has accomplished great things in her work, she has also garnered lots of negative comments about working so closely with Donnie, and David Letterman recently had some words for her as well.

Kim sat down with David as the latest guest on his Netflix interview series, ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’, and he did not hold back when it came to speaking about Kim’s work under the current administration. He says despite what Kim is doing, he doesn’t feel “any better” about how Donnie is running the country.

“I understand that,” Kim tells David. “Trust me, everyone called me and said, ‘Don’t you dare step foot in that White House or your reputation is done.'”

Kim also expresses that she hopes to continue advocating for people no matter what administration it is done under, seeing that Donnie could very well be out of the White House this year.

“Hopefully, for the next couple administrations, I’ll be working with the White House, helping them with clemencies,” she says.

David, however, is still not convinced, and doubles down on his previous point.

“But see, you good work is overwhelming,” he says. “It’s a positive force that diminishes what I consider to be unacceptable behavior by the president.”

As we’ve previously reported, Kim Kardashian, alongside her team of lawyers, has been working with the Trump administration to grant clemency to black people who have been wrongfully imprisoned. Through her work, many people, including former inmate David Sheppard, have been released from prison.
