I’m sure we’ve all heard Kanye Wests song “Famous” where he says “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex; I made that bitch famous,” obviously referring to Taylor Swift.
There has been a lot of he-say she-say on whether or not Taylor was aware of what was said in the song before it was released. During Kim Kardashian’s recent interview with GQ, the issue pertaining to Taylor Swift’s knowledge of what Kanye said in the song resurfaced.
Kim put Taylor’s allegations to rest and believes that she is playing the victim..
“She totally approved that.” Kim said with annoyance as GQ described Taylor’s reaction. “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much sh*t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
If you recall, Swift’s camp swiftly denied Kanye’s claims that he called to get the song approved as soon as reports hit the ‘net that he did indeed get the song approved.
A rep stated, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’ ”
Well, it looks like he did make her more famous. Roommates, do you think Taylor Swift is not telling the whole truth? Let’s chat!
