During her marriage to Kanye West, it’s safe to say Kim Kardashian was one of her husband’s biggest supporters.
She and her sisters often modeled Ye’s clothes and sneakers from his Yeezy line and Kim always had the scoop when it came to upcoming colorways and designs for his sneakers.
Well, despite their pending divorce, it doesn’t seem that the support has changed.
As you all may well know, Kim and Kanye are ending their marriage after seven years following a rough 2020. Kim reportedly filed for divorce last month and it seems the details are still being hammered out.
Amid this major life change, Kim was seen rocking a new Yeezy colorway in her Instagram story Wednesday.
Kim showed off the gray and white kicks following reports that she may get to keep their Los Angeles area Mansion in the divorce.
TMZ reports sources close to the former couple that Kim has been staying with the kids in their family home in Hidden Hills and Kim is reportedly interested in keeping it that way, though it’s unclear where Kanye will seek permanent residency.
Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four children as well. Sources also told TMZ that Kanye is fine with the joint custody arrangement, and they both are committed to co-parenting together.
There’s a prenup that neither of the two are contesting. A settlement, including property and custody has already been reached. The documents, were filed by celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, however the date of separation is not listed.
As we previously reported back in January, sources close to Kanye West provided details about what led to the demise of their marriage. Sources close to Kanye said at the time that he has BEEN checked out of his marriage with Kim Kardashian due to the “craziness” of her family.
In late 2020, Ye started distancing himself from the Kardashian family but apparently he’s been done with them for a long time and it created problems for their marriage.
Sources exclusively told us Kanye could no longer deal with the Kardashian family dynamic and revealed that the couple has been living separately.
