Folks don’t play ‘bout their children, Kim Kardashian included. On Monday, Kim Kardashian posted an oil painting that was done by her 7-year-old daughter, North West. The painting was so good that people on social media let it be known that they didn’t think North was capable. Needless to say, Kim was not here for any of it.
On Tuesday, Kim took to her Instagram story and had a thang or two to say about those doubting her daughter’s creative skills.
Kim wrote, “DON’T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!” the Skims founder said in her Instagram story. “My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured.”
“North worked incredibly hard on her painting, which took several weeks to complete,” she continued. “As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone. I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this,” she continued, alluding to the popular theory that the piece was in fact a Bob Ross painting. “How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?!”
“NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERDIOTDDDABCDEFGZFDT!!!!”
Kim also shared paintings that were made by Kanye West, as a child. She let it be known that North got her talent from her father.
The 40-year-old’s BFF, Tracy Romulus–whose daughter Ryan painted a photo also–stated, “Both girls are in art class together and learning oil painting techniques from an instructor,” she told fans. “They spend weeks at a time on a single painting and are incredibly proud of themselves once they complete a project.”
Looks like Kim and Kanye got a lil’ Picasso on their hands.
