Khloé Kardashian is going viral after revealing why she made Tristan Thompson take multiple DNA tests for their one-year-old son, Tatum. As The Shade Room previously reported, the pair also share a six-year-old daughter named True.
During a recently released episode of the ‘SHE MD’ podcast, Kardashian revealed that after their son’s birth, she made Thompson take three paternity tests.
“I made Tristan do three DNA tests for Tatum. He was so offended,” she explained.
As the conversation continued, the reality revealed that she requested the DNA tests because she felt that Tatum didn’t look like her or Thompson.
“And because [Tatum] was a surrogate baby, or IVF baby, I was like, ‘Rob, have you ever donated sperm somewhere?'” Kardashian said jokingly.
Despite the joke, Kardashian believed her son looked “just like” her brother, Rob Kardashian Jr.
“In this family, that would not surprise me, but that would be so disgusting,” she said, referring to her previous joke. “But I remember she [the doctor] was like, ‘You’ve already done a DNA test!’ [but] I [said], ‘I need to do another one, I need to figure it out.'”
Ultimately, Kardashian was able to confirm that Tatum was indeed her and Thompson’s biological son.
Social media users reacted to Kardashian’s revelation in The Shade Room’s comment section. Additionally, some users shared the Kardashian family member they believe Tatum looks most like.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Kardashian and Thompson welcomed their youngest child together via surrogate in June 2022. Since then, Kardashian has steadily opened up more about her recent journey in motherhood.
In December 2022, Kardashian shared a rare glimpse of Tatum when he was just five months old. At the time, however, she had not revealed his name.
In April 2023, Kardashian hinted at her son’s name beginning with a “T.” At the time, she also explained why she hadn’t immediately named him after he was born, per The Shade Room.
“He was delivered via surrogate, or the stork, I like to say, and at first, I did not know what I was going to name him. I wanted to meet him and feel him out a little bit, and so at first, he didn’t have a name,” she explained while appearing on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show.’
The following month, Kardashian revealed her son’s name to the world, per The Shade Room. Then, in July 2023, Kardashian gave the world a first look at Tatum in celebration of his first birthday, per The Shade Room.
At the time, Kardashian wrote a sweet message to her son, sharing how “sweet and precious” she believes he is and why her heart needed him.
Then, in September 2023, reports surfaced that Kardashian officially changed Tatum’s name to Tatum Thompson. At the time, reports shared the alleged name Kardashian had initially given Tatum on his birth certificate.
