Honestly, it seems like the Kardashian/Jenner family just can’t win in the court of public opinion. Despite all the good and charitable things they do, it’s never enough for their critics who always feel like they are lacking and could do more. Kim and Khloe Kardashian have officially had it with the hate—and they are not holding back.
As we previously reported, Kim Kardashian recently got a Twitter user all the way together because they tweeted about her seemingly not raising awareness or donating to the terrible Australian fires—simply because she hasn’t posted anything on social media.
The Twitter user posted this:
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashian/ Jenner’s talk about climate change/ wildfires and not donate even a penny.”
Kim quickly clapped back and let the social media troll know that they were incorrect in their assumptions, writing:
“Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything.”
Following that exchange, Khloe Kardashian hopped on Twitter to support her big sis—and to offer some clarification about her family’s charitable donations, while also speaking some religious facts about broadcasting what you do for others.
Khloe tweeted:
“Modern King James Version Therefore when you do your merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward.
We often bring attention to causes and ways you can donate. It’s our job to bring awareness to situations so we all can help as a human race. We Frequently post/speak about organizations/websites where we can all help save our planet.
Good deeds should be done with intention and not for attention. We are all blessed to be able to bless others even if it is in the slightest way. But we do not need to be boastful about that. Be boastful in regards to teaching others how they may be able to help as well.”
With all of the sad and deeply concerning things that are going on in the world right now, the last thing on our minds should be the pockets of celebrities.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
