Khloé Kardashian wants folks to stay out of her motherhood business! Like most parents, the reality television star wasn’t feeling recent criticism about how often she holds or carries her daughter True Thompson.
Less than 24 hours after the Los Angeles premiere of Hulu’s new Kardashian-Jenner reality show, Khloé clapped back at critics. Apparently, this red carpet is what sparked KoKo’s reponse. Event footage shows Khloé holding True as they posed for paparazzi and later carrying the three-year-old as they wrapped.
Well, Khloé hopped on Twitter to correct any negativity in one tweet published on Friday.
“For the people who comment that I hold True too much…number 1 I’m gonna hold my baby until I can’t hold her anymore,” Khloé tweeted.
After years of openly expressing a desire to have children, Khloé welcomed True with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson in April 2018. And the mama of one hasn’t let Tristan’s cheating scandals taint her parenthood journey. In a televised interview, she recently told Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts how far she’s gone to make sure her daughter feels loved by her parents.
“I remember when he cheated on me right before I gave birth and I was able to still have him in the delivery room,” Khloé said. “So yes, it might have looked strange to the outside world, but when my daughter [True] watches my home videos, those videos are going to be as pure and perfect as I was able to make them.”
In her tweeted clapback, Khloé even gave a lil’ insight. Her goal is to make sure True feels safe when their fame is front-and-center.
“Number 2 when there’s tons of cameras around, flashing lights, peps yelling things…I want my baby to feel safe,” Khloé continued. “Worry about your own children. We good over here.”
Less than 24 hours published and Khloé’s tweet received over 100,000 likes and 2,700 retweets.
While folks were busy in Khloé’s mama biz, her and True actually ate the red carpet up at The Kardashians premiere! The ladies were twinning in champagne-colored dresses. Mama’s floor-length, curve-hugging fit featured a corset top and thin straps. Meanwhile, True rocked a tank dress paired with high-top Dior sneakers.
