#Roommates, by now we’re all pretty familiar with the fact that celebrities regularly receive tons of free stuff, especially Kim Kardashian West. Kim recently took to social media to reveal that popular chicken chain KFC sent her a pair of its chicken-inspired new clogs in collaboration with Crocs.
As we previously reported, the first fashion collaboration between KFC and Crocs was back in February and it features a limited edition pair of unisex clogs that will be available for purchase this spring and retail for $59.99. However, that’s not all. The red-and-white soles of the clogs are supposed to resemble KFC’s fried chicken bucket.
You can also decorate your clogs with chicken-scented “jibbitz”—which are decorative attachments you can insert into the front of the shoe for a little extra drip. Realizing that an endorsement from Kim Kardashian West means increased revenue for its product, KFC sent her a few pairs of the shoes.
Kim posted them to her Instagram stories and she had this to say in the video:
“So I woke up to a delivery from Kentucky Fried Chicken and they are Kentucky Fried Chicken Crocs and they are introducing new Beyond Meat chicken so they will now be having I guess meatless chicken. I always eat vegan when I’m at home.
I went out and had Kentucky Fried Chicken recently and it was amazing but I don’t really eat meat all the time so this is amazing that they are partnering with Beyond Meat to have meatless chicken but aren’t these amazing.”
Kim and husband Kanye West are clearly fans of KFC, as just a few weeks ago they were spotted at a location in Paris ordering food. The location then commemorated their visit with a custom plaque of recognition.
