KFC customers in the U.S. can reportedly expect a new item to hit their menus pretty soon. Better yet, the restaurant’s latest offering combines two of our favorite dishes — pizza and fried chicken.

Here’s What’s Coming To KFC
According to PEOPLE, KFC has announced that the “Chizza” will be hitting U.S. locations nationwide on Monday, February 26. The outlet reports that the menu item was initially introduced in the Philippines in 2015.
From there, the Chizza made its way to Germany, Mexico, and other countries.
Next week, the Chizza will be offered in the U.S. as a solo item or combo meal with fries and a drink. The Chizza reportedly features “chicken filets lathered in marinara sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni.”
Furthermore, the outlet reports that a KFC location at 242 E 14th St. in New York City will be transformed into a “Chizzeria” pop-up shop. On Friday, February 23, and Saturday, February 24, customers will be able to have a “first taste” of the Chizza between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m.
In addition to the Chizza, KFC will reportedly bring back its Blackberry Lemonade.

Social Media Reacts To The KFC Chizza
Social media users have reacted to KFC’s menu update over on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many appeared to joke about the Chizza landing them in the hospital. Or with adverse reactions.

A Former KFC Manager Previously Opened Up About Viral Incidents At The Restaurant
Earlier this year, a former KFC manager spoke exclusively with Justin Carter for ‘TSR Investigates.’ At the time, Denita Roseborough opened up — not about the menu items — but about the violence that fast food workers face while on the job.
In 2018, Roseborough went viral after defending her crew against a comedian and his recorded prank.
“There’s nothing wrong with stepping in and stepping up for your team,” Roseborough explained to Carter.
