Roommates, Keyshia Cole fans are still processing the surprising news that she has officially decided to retire from music—and some are expressing their emotions in hilarious ways. Just hours after Keyshia Cole provided us with the exclusive details surrounding her retirement, her fans were in a frenzy and she shared one message she received that proves social media has zero chill.
Keyshia Cole wants all her fans to know that she is aware of the messages they’ve been sending letting her know that they are definitely not here for her retiring from the music industry. She posted to her Instagram stories, sharing a message that a passionate fan wrote letting her know her kids can wait ‘cause they need the music!
The fan’s message read:
“I seen you were retiring…and I’d personally like you to know you have me F**KED UP! Wth you retiring for? Them kids? Girl you can see them through a FaceTime call. Retire if you want too and see how I act!! Sincerely your biggest f**king fan that’s pissed tf off!”
As we previously reported, Keyshia Cole shared with us exclusively the reasoning behind her decision to leave music behind:
“Whenever album 8 is released, it will be my last. I’m gonna focus on my boys and being a present mother. Instead of always being away. It was my plan from the very beginning. I wanted to make it out the hood, create a better life for me so that when I had children, I could take care of them. I’ve done a lot, and I’m proud of my accomplishments. It’s draining now.”
Keyshia did not reveal when her eighth album would be released, however her last album “1111 Reset” was released back in 2017.
