Rapper Kevin Gates will reportedly have to spend more time behind bars after a judge has denied him bail.
According to TMZ, Gates attended a bond hearing on Wednesday at the Bridgeview Courthouse in Illinois, but the judge denied his request for bond.
It is unclear why the judge denied his request, but he will reportedly remain at the Kendall County Jail.
Last month he completed his sentence after a judge ordered him to serve 180 days after he kicked a female fan in the face back in 2015 at one of his shows. Shortly after he was arrested again for an outstanding warrant in a weapons case.
Nonetheless, the rapper continues to have new music drop while he continues to serve his time. Recently his single “911” was released on the soundtrack for the new action film, “Fate of the Furious,” which is a part of the “Fast and Furious” franchise.
