Marc Daly has reportedly been dropped by his divorce lawyer. According to Radar Online, the update arrives just a few weeks before Daly’s divorce trial with Kenya Moore.
According to Radar Online, court documents indicate that Marc’s attorney, Regina Edwards, requested to withdraw from the case. This update comes about a month before Daly and Moore’s trial date of May 22, 2023.
Daly reportedly has ten days to appeal the request. The lawyer notes that the upcoming court proceedings “will not be affected by the undersigned’s withdrawal.”
Speaking of Daly and Moore’s upcoming divorce trial, we should note that the longtime ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star has been vocal about the situation in the past.
In fact, while appearing on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ earlier this year, she proclaimed that she hoped the matter — which she called the “world’s longest divorce” — would soon be resolved.
“I’m hoping [it’s finalized] soon. World’s longest divorce.”
We should add that, as Kenya Moore and Marc Daly initially separated way back in 2018, this split has really been in the works for quite a while!
As The Shade Room previously reported, Moore filed for divorce back in mid-2021. TMZ caught up with her shortly after her ‘WWHL’ appearance, and she further dished on her situation with Marc Daly.
When asked why exactly her divorce is taking so long, the reality TV star replied, “No prenup, unfortunately!”
However, she also shared that she “feel[s] confident that it will get resolved soon.”
As the trial’s set to go down in May, it looks like there’s a chance that Moore will get to enjoy a Hot Girl Summer as a fully-single Bravolebrity!
