Kentucky Judge Is Outraged After Jail Sends Woman To Court With No Pants

A black woman from Kentucky was completely humiliated by jail officials when she was escorted into the courtroom, wearing a shirt but no pants, which literally left the judge speechless.

“Am I in the Twilight Zone right now?” Judge Amber Wolf asked.

According to the Huffington Post, the woman was in jail for failing to complete a program for a previous shoplifting charge. She booked at Metro Corrections in Louisville and claims that during her time there they never gave her a uniform and to make matters worse didn’t even provide her with basic feminine hygiene products!

No you already know the judge was livid when she heard this.

“I’m not trying to embarrass you, I’m very sorry,” Wolf told the defendant in court. “Can we get her something to cover up with? Anything, anything, anything. I don’t care what it is.”

“What the hell is going on?” Wolf said. “I am holding her here until she is dressed appropriately to go back to jail. This is outrageous.”

A spokesman for the jail, Steve Durham, told local news station WDRB that the reason why the woman didn’t recurve a jumpsuit was simply because she hadn’t been in jail that long, but she had been detained for three days.. So the question is How many days do you have to sit behind bars before you receive a jumpsuit?

Embarrassed by the jails treatment the judge continued to go in!

“This is her only charge ever,” Wolf added. “She should have been in jail for maybe a day, tops.”

The judge released the woman on grounds of time served and a $100 fine.

She also apologized to the woman,

“The fact you’re in custody is your fault ― you gotta come to court,” Wolf said. “The rest of this is completely inhumane and unacceptable, and I’m incredibly sorry you had to go through this.”
