Kendrick Lamar Comes Back With Another One
On Friday, May 3, Lamar took to Instagram to share a video clip with fans. The post featured an image of black gloves with a double M logo and accompanying audio.
Additionally, the caption featured a few words which seemed to indicate the audio’s title:
“6:16 in LA”
As the audio plays, Lamar says a few words about “somebody lying.” A beat plays, and then Lamar begins dropping bars. The rapper then name-drops Drake’s OVO label before seemingly speaking about him directly.
“If you were street smart, then you woulda caught that your entourage is only to hustle you / A hunnid n****s that you got on salary, and twenty of ’em want you as a casualty / And one of them is actually, next to you / And two of them is practically tied to your lifestyle, just don’t got the audacity to tell you…”
Ultimately, Lamar ends the song with: “Ask what Mike would do,” seemingly referring to Michael Jackson, whom Drake has frequently compared himself to.

Here’s Why Kendrick Lamar & Drake Are Beefing
As The Shade Room previously reported, Lamar and Drake’s rap beef began in March. At the time, Lamar appeared on Future & Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That,’ and dropped fiery bars aimed at the ‘6 God’ rapper.
In response, Drake returned shots with his song, titled ‘Push Ups.’ On the track, Drake seemingly called Lamar’s most recent album “trash,” and declared he was not part of the current top or “big” three rappers, per The Shade Room.
"Pip-squeak, pipe down/You ain't in no Big Three, SZA got you wiped down/Travis got you wiped down/Savage got you wiped down/Like your label, boy you Interscope right now"

Shortly after, Drake doubled down on his bars for Lamar by releasing another diss titled, ‘Taylor Made Freestyle,’ per The Shade Room. The track utilized AI vocals from west coast rappers Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac, whom Lamar has previously shared public praise for.
Earlier this week, Lamar returned fire toward Drake with his initial diss track titled ‘Euphoria,’ per The Shade Room. On the song, Lamar referred to Drake as a “degenerate” and seemingly treatened the rapper about spilling the “truth” on him.
