Kehlani Calls Out Joe Budden After He Jokes About Her Latest Song On His Podcast

Earlier this week Kehlani announced that she was single, and within the same day she dropped her latest record “Valentine’s Day (Shameful).” Well, it looks like Kehlani and her new record was a topic of discussion on the latest episode of the “Joe Budden Podcast.”

However, it looks like once Kehlani heard what Joe Budden and co-hosts, Mal and Rory, had to say about the record, she wasn’t too pleased and took Twitter to call him out.

In now-deleted tweets, Kehlani said that Joe was a joke. She proceeded to say, “The amount of misinformation and lies and lameness in this episode about me and you used my face is…lol gotta love it.”

Joe who is known to speak his mind did not hesitate to respond to Kehlani and said, “We love you, it’s jokes…feel better.”

He then followed up with another tweet and said, “I’m bout sick of you artists…never a peep through years of praise but wanna jump outta windows when you hear something you don’t like….newsflash, I am not friends with you n*ggas.”

Fans also took to social media to share their thoughts on the whole situation. Some thought that some of the comments made during the podcast were uncalled for. While others thought Kehlani was being sensitive, especially seeing as how Joe Budden mentioned how much he loved her music.

Check it out below, and also what some people are saying on Twitter.

As we previously mentioned, Kehlani talked about her and YG’S breakup in her latest record “Valentine’s Day (Shameful).” The news about their split came days after they released a joint-record called “Konclusions.”

Some of the lyrics to Kehlani’s new record “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” read, “I helped you fight your addiction and change your whole life, just to find myself played in the end. Ain’t no regrets cause I’m proud that my heart was so pure and I’m never ashamed of my love. Now I’m finding strength in the fact that you’re nothing to me and I know the things I am above.”
