Kayla Nicole is raising some eyebrows after being spotted having a friendly chat with Jackson Mahomes. Jackson is the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes.
TMZ reports that on Thursday (February 8), onlookers spotted the pair at the Aria Resort & Casino’s High Limit Lounge in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It’s fair to assume that Jackson is in Sin City to support his brother ahead of his big game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night (February 11). However, it’s unclear whether Kayla also plans to attend.
Sources for the publication above claim that the pair did not plan their encounter. Kayla and Jackson just so happened to run into one another, though eyewitnesses at the casino allege that the whole thing seemed orchestrated.
The two ended up at a bar together, with some onlookers telling TMZ it looked like he’d been waiting for her to arrive.
Sources suggest they spent about an hour together, sparking curiosity among fans.
The duo’s interaction, however, seemed innocent and friendly. It marks a stark contrast to the alleged strained relations between Kayla and other members of the Mahomes family. While dating Travis Kelce, Kayla shared a friendship with Travis’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany.
Kayla and Brittany were especially close during her five-year romance with Travis. In fact, the socialite was just one of eight friends who joined Brittany at her bachelorette party in February 2022.
Following Kayla and Travis’ split in 2022, she reportedly distanced herself from the Mahomes, unfollowing Patrick and Brit on Instagram.
Despite that strain, this new sighting appears to indicate Nicole and Jackson have a cordial relationship.

Back in October, Kayla explained her decision to unfollow Patrick and Brittany. She admitted that she had a “falling out” with the couple, prompting her to wipe them from her following list.
Now that Taylor Swift is in the picture — having formed a blossoming romance with Travis in late 2023 — it seems as if Kayla and Brittany’s friendship has run its course.
“I do think it’s important to publicly address this because I did publicly unfollow people,” Kayla told PEOPLE. “The reality is I know these people in real life. And so, in real life, I’ve communicated to these people why I’ve had to publicly make the decisions that I made.”
The social media unfollowing spree was a public statement of her desire to protect herself and her mental well-being.
Nicole also turned off her DMs and comments on Instagram to handle the surge of negative comments from Travis’ new relationship.
Kayla continues to make her presence felt in NFL circles despite facing ups and downs since splitting from Travis.
According to the Daily Mail, she recently embarked on a girls’ trip to Colorado with other wives of NFL players.

But in a January interview, the model and socialite stated that she was done with the NFL regarding dating its players.
Instead, Kayla told the ‘Behind The Likes’ podcast that she hoped to bag herself as a man of “power.”
“I’ll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage,” she explained. “I would love to just date someone that– I do think that I’m attracted to men in positions of power, and I also think those types of men are attracted to me.”
