So, the truth is Karen Huger has had plastic surgery on her face. The Grand Dame of the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ spoke on which type during the series’ eighth reunion, which aired on March 31.
The question about plastic surgery tune-ups on Karen Huger’s face came from a fan. The host, Andy Cohen, read it during part one of the reunion, pointing to Karen’s “snatched” social media posts. Without hesitation, Karen confirmed she’d recently been under the knife.
“Absolutely, I did a deep plane [facelift], and I just look like me…refreshed,” the RHOP star said.
Despite Karen’s eagerness to clear the air, her castmate Ashley Darby still had follow-up questions. She asked about touch-ups on Karen’s body, but the 60-year-old denied any recent work there. In fact, she made it clear that she’s more than satisfied below the neck.
“Oh, nothing on the body because I’m done with the body. My body is me, banging,” Karen shared.

Huger has been pretty much pro-surgery from the jump of her television stardom. According to Bravo TV, during season six of ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ she admitted to getting minor touch-ups to her face.
However, she also declared that her “health is wealth” mindset contributed to her visual appearance improvement from the show’s premiere to its sixth season.
“I get the [under-eye] filler,” she reportedly said. “I take very good care of myself. I eat well, I exercise. I think age is just a number.”
She’s also reportedly admitted to getting “injections put into [her] nose.”
And Karen is unapologetic about obtaining plastic surgery. In the season eight reunion, she shared her thought process on people going under the knife.
“If you want to do it and it makes you feel better, do it,” she said.
Her stance is a strong contrast to celebrities who have rejected and reversed procedures in recent years, from K. Michelle to Angela White (formerly Blac Chyna) and SZA. Meanwhile, others like Akbar V have embraced tapping a plastic surgeon for a lil’ work.
Last month, Karen went viral for an entirely different reason. Huger was charged with a DUI after getting into an accident post-filming the reunion show. In a lengthy message, she explained her ongoing battle with grief, choosing alcohol to cope and being grateful to still be alive.
