Kanye started off the year with some shade, honey!
So as we reported last night, Kanye dropped some new music, “Facts” to end his year off, or start a few new topics of discussion: Kanye Vs. Nike for starters, since he referenced them the most.
First of all he jumped off with the very first verse on a shady island!
“Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy just jumped over Jump Man…” This might be a bit of a stretch BUT did he just come for Jordan’s?
In the past, Kanye has made comments correlating that verse and his real life feelings. Basically, Kanye feels his Adidas Yeezy release vs. Nike’s Jordan release(s) did not have the same level of buzz. Kanye claims his release blew any Jordan release out of the water and Nike is in a sense not what’s hot now-a-days. And when you’re Kanye, it’s only right to think that way.
THEN he said, “if Nike ain’t have Drizzy man they won’t have nothin'” and then makes the allegation that, “Nike Nike treat employees like slaves/ gave LeBron a Billi not to run away”!

Before you choose sides with the info just given, we think it’s important for you to know that we’ve also learned that statistics currently show that Nike is STILL the biggest sportswear and footwear brand in the world. We hear they have plans to reach $50 billion in revenue by 2020.
The song may be called “Facts” but numbers don’t lie. Numbers suggest Adidas falls right behind Skechers; which falls behind Nike. Kanye took another jab at Nike saying they “can’t give shit away.” If we’re still talking numbers, that fact may be considered opinion.
But who are we to bust that bubble?
Anyways! So while he was on his soapbox, he shoutouted out the other half of the power couple, Kim and her new emoji app, which actually was alleged to have made $1 million a minute early during its release.
“Plus Kimojo just shut down the App Store”
Knowing Kanye, he couldn’t be done that easy… He left us with a Bill Cosby/Steve Harvey reference: “Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? Did he forget the names just like Steve Harvey?”
Well… We don’t always get new music from Kanye but when we do its #Facts!
