Kanye West is letting a bit of steam off when it comes to Kim Kardashian and their four kids.
On Thursday, February 29, West took to Instagram to share a text post with words explicitly addressed to his ex-wife.
“KIM TAKE MY KIDS OUT OF SIERRA CANYON NOW,” the message began. “IT’S A FAKE SCHOOL FOR CELEBRITIES THAT ARE USED BY ‘THE SYSTEM.'”
In the caption of the post, the rapper added more words.
“At this point, everybody knows what ‘the system’ is a code word for 👀,” the rapper continued. “I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children. When the system drafts athletes they avoid working with those who have their father in their life because they are harder to manipulate…”
Before concluding his thoughts, Ye added a striking statement.
“My two oldest know they daddy is,” the rapper wrote, seemingly referring to his and Kardashian’s oldest children, North West, 10, and Saint West, 8.
To note, Kardashian and West also share two younger children, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4. Both were born via surrogacy, per PEOPLE.
According to Page Six, all of the West children attend Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California. According to the institution’s official website, it is a private, coeducational, college preparatory, day, and boarding school “where cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic diversity are welcomed and celebrated.” Additionally, children between the levels of Pre-K to 12th grade are able to attend.
The outlet reports that Ye previously agreed to compromise with Kardashian on allowing his children to attend Sierra Canyon. Their agreement was reportedly made on the premise that their kids would attend Sierra Canyon for their education needs and then complete their day at Donda Academy for extracurricular activities.
However, at the time, Ye’s self-founded Donda Academy was still in operation. At this time, the academy is now defunct, as previously reported by The Shade Room.
Social media users shared mixed reactions to Ye’s public message to his ex-wife in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @nmyzon3 wrote, “This is a form of abuse.”
While Instagram user @thecoffeecarl added, “Just because someone says something that’s partially correct doesn’t make the entirety of what they say correct and yall know that. Y’all will willfully support Kanye who is literally gaslighting and threatening Kim. SHE has custody of the kids that HE left to run off to Wyoming with the next girl. She’s probably doing her very best at parenting them 4 kids…”
At this time, Kim Kardashian has not publicly responded to her ex-husband’s social media message. As The Shade Room previously reported, during a July 2023 episode of ‘The Kardashians,’ the mother of four shared that no matter how difficult her and Ye’s relationship becomes, she will always try to shield it from their kids.
“The kids have no clue… They think their dad is, like, the best thing and the most amazing thing. And he’s so great with them,” she explained. “Why would I take that away from them because I’m angry? I mean, granted, I have a lot to be angry at, but they don’t know that.”
In a May 2023 episode of the reality show, Kardashian spoke more about taking the high road with Ye.
“…All of his shenanigans… is going to be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be,” she explained at the time. “…I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know, one day, my kids will appreciate that, and I know that is the best thing for them…”
